LEONARDO TOMASI
PORTFOLIO

Leonardo Tomasi (1996), works in theater as an actor, director and playwright. 

He has collaborated with several theater realities as actor, author or organizer, among others SardegnaTeatro, Batisfera, L'Effimero Meraviglioso, Meridiano Zero, Nuovo Teatro Sanità.  

He studied in various workshops and higher education programs (ERT/Laika Theater of Senses; IDRA Factory; Progetto Te.S.eO.- TSV; Continuing Education - SardegnaTeatro). 

He’s been part of creative residency programs such as 
R-evolution and DeStructura. 

In recent years, he has been developing collaborative works with various groups and individual artists, in a research interested in audience participation and storytelling failure.

A group of spectators receive a video call from a Rider delivering sandwiches around the city. Buoyed by the deliveryman's requests, the participants interact with an order board filled with post-its, notes, and receipts, looking for information useful to finalize the delivery, bringing order to his delusional soliloquy, deciphering the conspiracy behind the spicy sandwich. 
In a society stuffed with unreadable data, where we are incapable of making our way through the noise, the Riders become the last champions of order, authors of unprecedented connections between people and orders, homes and restaurants, in pursuit of the mirage of a tip. But what happens when the GPS signal is lost, when the streets become all the same, when the dots get connected?

KEBAB is an interactive performance about sandwiches, food-delivery and conspiracy theories, an attempt to answer the eternal question: what do they put in this KEBAB after all?
